Finding a good tutorial
Teaching the latest and greatest Photoshop features has become a passion among Photoshop fanatics. It’s not hard to find lots of well-illustrated tutorials for Photoshop online.
However, not all tutorials are created equal, so follow these tips if you want to find the best for your needs:
* **Consult the equipment you already have on hand.** Use the instructions you can find in books to see what you already have in your hands. Photoshop comes with dozens of bells and whistles built in, so you can see what’s already in the program. But if you have a previous version of Photoshop, you can use the tutorials from previous versions for reference.
If you don’t have any books on your hands, scan the manuals in the installation disc or try a program like Your Digital Camera (`www.shop.cnet.com/cnet/your-digital-camera/6052-whats-this-camera.html`). Many camera manuals have helpful tutorials for Photoshop.
* **Consider free Photoshop-oriented magazines, such as Photoshop World and Elements Magazine.** Their tutorials can supplement the book tutorials, or you can use them to build on what you learn from books.
* **Go beyond the main catalog of Photoshop tutorials.** You can even find free Photoshop Web sites with popular Photoshop tutorials. Google is your friend.
Don’t be fooled by the number of tutorials; Photoshop has a dizzying array of powerful features. There are some “how to do it” tutorials out there, but you need to know what you’re doing. You can’t just follow any tutorial or photoshop tutorial.

We are planning to use the following reasoning in arriving at the conclusion that he simply did not arise to such status. The appellants complain that the introduction of the marriage certificate by the appellee was improper because of the non-probability of the marriage, as shown by the fact that the appellant denied he was married. The position taken by the appellee is that that instrument is admissible under the policy of the common law rule which makes a marriage a judicial admission against interest. The appellee says that the fact that the appellant, plaintiff in the action, denied that he was married does not make the marriage certificate, proof of the marriage. The appellee also, in defense of the introduction, contends that the appellant in the action, on the trial, did not deny the marriage, but merely argued on *702 the issue of the cause of death, and was under oath at the trial.
“Where a person admits in court that he is married and his testimony is given in direct conflict with such admission, the testimony of the admission is, in the absence of some equitable defense, deemed conclusive upon the court; it is a judicial admission. It is true that the validity of a marriage may sometimes depend on extrinsic evidence, but if the question is raised, it can be determined by the court as a matter of judicial notice, which the court may take judicial notice of the fact. * * *” (Citations omitted.) (Emphasis supplied.)
“A judicial admission is a formal act done in the course of judicial proceedings which is a substitute for evidence, thereby waiving the right of the party to introduce evidence on the issue, and it removes the issue from the field of controversy. * * *” (Citations omitted.)
In the instant case the appellant in the cause did deny at the trial that he was married to the appellee. In addition to this he made reference to the facts and circumstances attending his marriage by stating:
“I knew that she was married and I believed she was of age.”
The causes of death were stipulated by the appellant. One cause was emphysema and the other hypertension. It is true that on one occasion in the course of the trial the appellant did allude to the husband-wife status of his deceased wife, and made the following statement:
“What in the world would make it of any concern of mine if I am married to someone else and I thought she was of age and I still found out that she
