It runs at 9 Moves A Day, with a maximum of 4 people who can play at one time.
The players are divided into two teams: the “good” players, and the “bad” players
The game ends at the beginning of the next day, and whichever team has more players at the end of the day wins (that’s not all that random).
The players are presented with a blank box of a document that the players can edit to set the game’s story.
About Storywriting in Roleplaying Games:
It’s popular in the roleplaying community to make a play with 2-3 completely different playbooks.
Or in your case, completely different character storylines.
Every roleplayer has a character that follows a storyline that’s unique and different than every other roleplayer.
The best way to make a story is to make a mixture of different playbooks. Make one that covers all the plot points of what happens in the game, and another to cover who the players think is responsible.
In your case, you might have:
A plot-driven half (based on a blank box)
A character focused half (based on which character ends up winning the next day’s game)

I’m going to second what @elderlings said and suggest a different approach. That being: Writing prompts.
There are several great question/writing prompts that give you good places to start or put you in a situation in which you can brainstorm.
This could be a single or multiple scenes within the action of the game that could be used to write a segment, or a whole section, for that matter.
You could even set a specific stage or level and work on that.
Is it going to be the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, or a Garden Club member at the Museum, or five years after the previous game, etc.
See What’s the best Google Doc for writing? for a link to a variety of great sites, and to a wiki with a ton of such prompts.
Also, see How do I find free writing prompts? if you want a curated list of sites to help you find them.

I’m not really sure I can cover all the details you need.
First, it sounds like you’re trying to write a short story. This is very common. I’m not sure how I got away with it, though I have a few ideas.
