MONTREAL – Well, that certainly was something of a kick in the pants.

After being on the losing end of a series opener and a 7-4 road loss to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the Canadiens (4-5-2) returned home on Wednesday night to take on the 5-5-1 Philadelphia Flyers.

The Habs got off to a quick start in terms of both momentum and shots on goal, and they quickly added to their lead through sniper David Desharnais in the first period.

The 33-year-old Desharnais had been playing on a broken hand for the better part of the last month, but he definitely looked like his old self in the first period.

Desharnais scored his third goal in three games, which included last Friday’s win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, to open the scoring. The goal came after a remarkable bounce off the goal post that went right in.

“I’m just trying to play as hard as I can,” said Desharnais. “I was trying to get a goal and win the game. I just tried to play my game.”

After that goal, the Habs (4-5-2) out-shot the Flyers (4-5-2) 21-13 over the next 15 minutes of the first period.

After that first period, it was Philadelphia who dominated the remaining two. The Flyers (5-5-1) held a 26-17 lead in shots on goal at the end of the second period.

The Habs returned home Saturday after a short road trip and their performance on the ice was reflective of that. They were outshot in the second period by a margin of 17-4.

“I’m pretty pleased with our team so far this season,” said coach Michel Therrien. “The most important thing for us is that we’re able to come back and win after a tough loss and then win again.

“We’re still lacking a little bit of a little bit of hockey sense, but we’ve shown that we can get the job done.”

Defenseman Andrei Markov and forward Torrey Mitchell helped to corral a few of the turnovers the Canadiens had suffered in the first period.

“It was tough because we started to make a couple of mistakes early in the first period,” admitted Mitchell. “We haven’t played really well in the last two games. We

Ordering videos based on play time

I have a method that is basically just a set of videos i need to do a loop through them and write them to a file as one video. (There’s also some other code that does this but for my question that will do).
So I would like to be able to do something like
if (String.Equals(“watchOne”, mVideo.Key))
writeToFile(mVideo.Value, “watchOne”)
if (String.Equals(“watchTwo”, mVideo.Key))
writeToFile(mVideo.Value, “watchTwo”)
if (String.Equals(“watchThree”, mVideo.Key))
writeToFile(mVideo.Value, “watchThree”)

I’ve looked at lists etc. but i’ve been stuck in lists for ages, I’m just not sure how to order them based on the time they were played. Thanks.

You can use a dictionary.
var myDictionary = new Dictionary();

//Add your items to the dictionary

foreach (var key in myDictionary.Keys)
if (key == “watchOne”)
myDictionary[key] = DateTime.Parse(“10:00”);
else if (key == “watchTwo”)
myDictionary[key] = DateTime.Parse(“17:00”);
else if (key == “watchThree”)
myDictionary[key] = DateTime.Parse(“21:00”);

When you are done, you can just use myDictionary to order the items like so:
var orderedItems = myDictionary.Keys.ToList();
orderedItems.Sort((x, y) => myDictionary[y].CompareTo(myDictionary[x]));
