Venture Forth is an interactive experience where you must escape from a harsh environment under the control of mysterious monsters and their minions. You have no weapons and are completely dependent on whatever tools you find in your way.
It is at your disposal a flare, torch, hammer, lock pick, high jump and even a grappling hook. There are also safe areas within the prison where you can hide and heal (usually). You will have many encounters with baddies, traps and enemies, and you must learn how to use the tools you find.
The game has a limited time-frame and permadeath. So, in the end, you will be able to choose only one of three paths to the final area. It is up to you if you will be able to find your way out.
If you have played adventure games before then you should be able to figure out how the game works. If you are new to the genre, then you should pick it up as soon as you finish the first version of the game as all the different paths are in there.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab your sandals, pack your backpack and venture forth!
– Three different paths
– Sixteen maps
– Thirteen different endings
– Unique puzzles
– Five different tools that you can use
– All assets in the game were made using Blender 2.79.

[A patient with acute graft-versus-host disease after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation].
A 54-year-old woman with chronic myelogenous leukemia underwent allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell transplantation from her HLA-identical sister. She received a conditioning regimen of Bu 16 mg/kg on day -7, cyclophosphamide 60 mg/kg on day -6, and total body irradiation of 1,300 cGy on day -5, followed by bone marrow infusion of 5.0 x 10(8)/kg. At 100 days after transplantation, she complained of abdominal distention. No definite pathological findings were observed on enhanced computed tomography. So, conservative treatment was initiated. Six days later, the patient complained of diarrhea with mucous bloody stool, skin rash, and severe diarrhea. Therefore, she was transferred to our hospital. Physical examination showed that her abdomen was distended, and rebound tenderness was observed. Her peripheral white blood cell count was 1,370 /microl, with a decreased lymphocyte count (0.036 x 10(9)/l). The hemoglobin level was 6.4 g/dl. Hepatic and renal dysfunction, bone marrow suppression and mucosal bleeding were also noted. Furthermore, her peripheral blood was positive for the M. tuberculosis skin test, and a tonsillar swelling and pharyngitis, suggesting the reactivation of latent infection. These results indicated the possibility of acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD). The skin findings and histological findings of the tonsil also suggested aGVHD. Gastrointestinal biopsy revealed interface change with IgA-rich lymphocyte infiltration in the duodenal mucosa, suggesting aGVHD. Therefore, low-dose prednisolone (0.2 mg/kg/day) was initiated. The skin eruption, diarrhea, and abdominal distention were improved, and no acute GVHD was observed on day 30. However
How to play Venture Forth:
What is it?
Venture Forth is an action/adventure game with RPG elements. The main thrust of the game is to explore an underground world while carrying out quests. There are both optional quests and side quests, which will determine whether or not you have any plot-related points available in your Quests tab. You will also discover items which can be upgraded through the Quests tab.
The adventure is divided into several game segments, each having its own objective. To carry out the segments, players will have to battle through hordes of enemies and battle the labyrinth’s many traps. As they work their way through the labyrinth, players will find themselves carrying items around the world, which they will have to use to progress. Items can be used on monsters, doors, and traps, depending on the situation.
Players can earn or lose HP points for certain actions, and will be presented with a menu when they have a certain amount of HP. When players have no HP, they will be able to use any one of the items on display to restore their health.
Quests and side quests
The battle system has both fighting and movement sections.
The fighting is done primarily through physical attacks, and attacks are split into melee and ranged sections. If an enemy is about to attack you, a meter at the bottom of the screen will glow red. If you block an attack while it’s charging, your meter will drop.
The distance between you and the enemy determines how many hit points you will receive for a successful attack. Your level determines how many points you get. You can also use your health and weapon points to improve your weapon and level, respectively. For example, your weapon will automatically improve to the next level if you use a potion on it.
If you do enough damage to a foe with your weapon, your weapon will break. Your level and item points will then be increased by 2. If you break all the weapons on your side, your health and item points will be increased by 4. If you break all of your weapons, you’ll go up a level and any remaining item points will be increased by 3. If you’re caught without a weapon, you can fight with a throwing weapon.
When an enemy is knocked out, they’ll drop coins and items.
I think the last time I posted here was in December of 2010, and I almost never come here, but I did want to mention something that happened over the Thanksgiving break.
I had a scan on my thyroid, and it came back slightly abnormal (where it is, I don’t know- we only got the test back one day ago, and everything else is normal).
I had an ultrasound of the thyroid last week, and it was normal. But when the doctor found this abnormal result from the scan, he asked how I did the scan. I told him I don’t really know how; the computer that does our scans kept it to itself.
And I said my husband is the software programmer.
Well, to cut to the chase, I got the phone call a couple days later- apparently my husband was in a very bad auto accident, and he needed to have the hospital call whoever they did in-house scans.
And since my husband is a programmer- those are his hands- he was told to call me. So, I had a conversation with the doctor, the lady at the office, the manager, and they finally tracked me down.
It was a surreal exchange- several days later my husband is more than a little concussed, he still can’t remember the accident, and I kept waiting to be called back with a “Well, the doctors need to see you.”
But it never happened.
Shortly thereafter I started to worry that I am supposed to live on gluten-free grains because of my thyroid, and I got to hunt me down and tell me that’s not true… because my medical information is still on a paper in my husband’s hospital room… and thank God the information on the paper is here, not on a computer screen.
That same day I got to go to the sales people at my thyroid doctor’s office to get some batteries for my thyroid monitor.
I left on Nov. 26; on Dec. 2 I got to get it finally- all 6 of them.
I have a calendar on the back of my cellphone saying I have a deadline of Dec. 10 to get the thyroid back; so, when I am not looking, I’m counting the
